Workshops

Girl Plays Jazz Project is delighted to have been awarded a National Lottery Project Grant by the Arts Council – to continue to run our live workshops, masterclasses and development opportunities from 2021 to 2023, as well as our new monthly BIG JAZZ THEORY sessions.  As part of this we will look to expand our programme outside of London for the first time.

IN PERSON WORKSHOPS

All our workshops are open to girls aged 8 to 18 who have at least 2 years regular tuition on their instrument.

From September 2021 Girl Plays Jazz Project proudly presents: The Jazz Launch Pad – introducing girls and young women to jazz improvisation with the support of the Arts Council.   All workshops cost £25 per participant, with free places available for those on low incomes.
